Placenta Previa

So i had an regular check up today, and my doctor  went over my u/s i had last month that showed i have placenta previa..  I had early bleeding with this pregnancy about to my 9th week.  But the last month i have felt fine.  I seen him today and the baby is growing fine and has a great heartbeat 148-150.  He tells me due to this he will have to form a c-section, (i had one with my daughter) no big deal, but then starts to tell me all the risk and complications that could happen, so of course i come home and look it up online and now im freaking out..  has anyone gone through this or know some one that has??

I hate google when it involves me and a medical problem! I alwasy get the most horrible results! I got bit by two fire ants on my arm in May, and talk about nightmares! I thought my arm was going to fall off and take a leg with it!

As mentioned your doctor will monitor you and hopefully as you get further along the placenta will move up and out of the way!

How far along are you? I was diagnosed w. placenta previa at 8 weeks and by 20 weeks, it had corrected itself. It's very common that as the baby grows, the placenta moves and the previa corrects itself. Good luck, and dont be too scared. I was freaking out as well until I realized it is VERY common, and 7/10 times corrects itself LONG beofre you are ready to deliver. If not, the Dr. knows what is going on, and monitors you closely, and schedules a c-section.. Good luck and keep us posted!
