Plan B...

Hello:
I had taken the Plan B pill, the morning after a condom broke- I am not on birth control.
I took one pill, than the other maybe...an hour later? I didn't know you were to take them at once. 6-7 days later i experienced what I thought was another period (I was on my period when the condom broke) but it only lasted a short amount of time, maybe 2-3 days. My periods have never been irregular. I looked on the plan b box to see if it was a side effect and it said that spotting would occur a lot sooner than that. I did some snooping around online, and one option I found is that it could be 'implantation bleeding.' It usually occurs within that time period, but produces a darker brown blood. Mine was dark/red, but not brown. Could it have been another period?

Also you had sex on your period which is not during the time you would be ovulating so you should be fine.

Bleeding is a normal side effect of Plan B. It can happen anywhere from a couple days after taking the pill to a week and a half after taking the pill. Then you will have your normal period when you are supposed to, in another 28 days if that is your normal cycle. Try not to worry about it, as stress can make you late.

hi there.. i seriously don't think that was implantation bleeding and neither there are chances of your being pregnant coz u took plan b within time.. the problem is that plan b chances your cycle drastically even causing your periods to arrive 7 days early from the expected date and even have a lighter period than normal.. the hour difference won't be a problem.. so u need not worry as there are completely no chances.. good luck..
