Plan B.....period or implantation bleeding???? PLEASE HELP!

Alright, so i am on birth control but last month i was on antibodics, which are said to decrease the effectiveness of the birth control. So my boyfriend and I had sex and the condom broke, but we didn't finish the sex. So he didnt come in me. But after that we decided to get a Plan B pill. I took it 48 hours after. A few days before my period was due to come i took a pregnancy test, it was negative. But now it is time for my period to come, it's the last pills in my birth control pack. I have some blood, but it's a kind of clearish red/brown and sometimes there are bright red blood clots. Is that my period or....implantation bleeding??? What are the chances of me being pregnant??? I'm scared.....please help!!

If the test came out negative, there's little chance that you're pregnant.  Those tests work by detecting the amount of these hormones released during pregnancy.  If you're pregnant, there would be enough of the hormones in your urine to be detected in the test.  If you took several tests already and they turned out negative, you should be okay.  The heartburn might just be food related.  You might just also be psyching yourself out.  Go to your doctor or Planned Parenthood if you're really worried (even though I don't think you need to be)--they're help ease your mind.  Good luck!

I see that all the answers were posted yesterday, so hopefully by now you've started your period or are fairly certain that your not pregnant.  When I was in college I had a similar situation (with the antibiotics and all) and I took the Plan B pill as well.  For me, it made my period a couple days late and was also much heavier (I experienced lots of cramping as well) although at the time I was just glad that it had started so I didn't mind the cramps as much.  I freaked out at the time but the chances are very low that you could become pregnant as a result.  Don't worry, stay calm, and things will work out! :)

I'm sure it's pretty accurate by this point. How do you feel about that? I know some people want it to be negative but then when it does come out negative they're kind of sad. Keep your chin up and keep moving forward!

You usually ovulate 2 weeks before your period is due. So your chances of conception are highly unlikely. Take the test to ease your mind! It should definitely be accurate by now in the off-chance you ovulated early.

When the bleeding stops you can take a pregnancy test then. I'm sorry- I didn't realize you meant your period was due now!

It will be accurate when your next period is due. If you're not sure, then you can take a pregnancy test 2 weeks after the last time you had sex.

Plan B will make you bleed sooner than you expected in most cases. It can make it lighter or heavier but I *think* mostly heavier. I've never taken it so I don't have firsthand knowledge.

all i remember about plan b is that it can bring your period 5 days early to 5 days late. i doubt you're pregnant - clots are not a sign of a healthy pregnancy, more often signs of  a period. Plan b is hormonal though, so may mess with your cycles a little.

Can't Plan B make your period either lighter or heavier??

A pregnancy test is accurate when your expected period is due.

Plan B is a high dose of hormones so your bleeding is most likely a result of taking the Plan B.
