How many weeks are you? Congratulations! :)
I waited til 12 weeks to tell....
I started telling people right away...i just couldnt help it.
I'm 4 weeks 4 days, thank you! I had a previous ectopic so am a little nervous until I get a scan a week on Monday, but feel like shouting it from the rooftops haha! Am feeling a bit ill and it's got me thinking....what is everyone's thoughts on the flu jab? Don't know if I want to risk damaging my baby x
After two and a half years of fertility treatment we decided to tell our friends and family. Alot of our support came from these people and we wanted to share the news of our blessing.
Told right after I found out and congrats:)
LOL well I am going crazy trying to keep it all quiet till a doctor visit and at least 8 weeks or so. Seem like the whole world wants to know if I'm pregnant, and we aren't ready to discuss it yet. A close friend and my parents figured it out though -- and are sworn to secrecy.
I told at 8 or 9 wks, except for close family we told them a few days after we found out!
I agree keeping this secret is really hard i don't know how some people can keep it for months on in. I told a handful of people but I am not telling my 6 year old child until i'm 12 week due to already having complications. :/
I'm waiting until my ultrasound this Wednesday to make sure everything is ok. I'm 7 weeks today and am nervous bc last time I miscarried. I had a blighted ovum.
I took the test showed it to my husband and he wrote on Facebook that we were expecting so I had to hurry and call my family.
I was going to wait til I was 12 weeks but my bf was so excited he told everyone the second he found out. It was cute! Congrats!
Congrats!! I told my best friend the next morning because she was my support person throughout my ttc journey. And we told our parents at like 5 1/2-6 weeks because we just were so excited! Use your best judgement and whatever you feel comfortable doing. If you feel people will support you if something happens, go for it!
im 10 weeks 6 days i find out at 6 weeks we told people the next day that we found out was to excited
I'm keeping it a secret too until about 13 weeks.
We told our family and close friends right after we found out, but they all knew what we had gone through to get to that point so I felt they should be included. But everyone else we started telling at around 12-13 weeks.
Congrats! Im i hope i get a BFP next week.
congrats. We found out at 3-4 weeks and only told my mum. We told everyone's else after a scan at 8w. Due to miscarriage a few months before I didn't want to say anything until I had seen he was ok. Hope all goes well for you.
Thank you all for your congrats :) And congrats to you all :)
Morning sickness has now kicked in :/ xx
I FOUND OUT AT 6WKS AND TOLD EVERYONE THAT SAME DAY.
My Last pregnancy (nov 2010) i found out at 5wk, We said we would keep it a secret until we knew everything was ok as id had 1 previous m/c and 2 ectopics, i figured if i didnt tell anyone but dropped hints they would guess when they didnt i was like ok ok IM PREGNANT lol i couldnt keep it in haha. Unfortunatly after my scan at 5wk6d i had another m/c but i wouldnt hesitate in telling my family and close friends again!
Infact yest i completed my IVF cycle and had my egg transfer we had 2 embys implanted one 8 cell one 9 cell now my family and close friends are waiting by the fone for me to call haha!! Its now a longggg wait until the 22nd Nov to see if we have atleast one sticky bean :-))
Good luck with whatever you decide----My advice shout it from the roof tops :-)) Yaaaayyyyy BFP!!!!
I had an U/S at 7 weeks and the dr told me that there was no difference in then to 12 weeks. But we still decided to wait until the 3 months. We did tell our parents and some close family members but we didn't tell anyone else until after the 12 wk U/S. I think it all just depends on what you are comfortable with.
A friend of mine told some people early and then she lost the baby. it's harder to tell everyone and then have to go back and tell them that something has happened. The risk after 12 wks is so much lower that the next time she waited... her daughter is now almost 3.
