I tested on the day of my missed cycle and it was NEGATIVE... so i went on with life thinking i was not pregnant... then a week later i still had no period, so i tested again and I was POSITIVE!!! I know if you wait, you will get a dark line for positive if you are indeed pregnant! Good Luck!
I got a faint positive 3 days before AF was due and a NOT PREGNANT. Then a day after AF was due I got an immediate positive and a PREGNANT. So I would test on July 4 and it should come up quicker and darker - plus PREGNANT if you are indeed. Happy testing :)
Thanks guys. I tested with first morning urine as well but is still very faint. ijust did one now and the line is still there. I guess i just have to wait.
I agree with waiting. I would retest first thing in the morning! Good Luck!
I also took the First Response right before AF was due and it was also very faint positive. I took 6 tests over the next week and they did continue to get darker until everything was confirmed a week later. But I also took a Clear Blue and nothing showed up on that, while First Response was becoming darker. First Response is definately more sensitive to detect very low levels of HCG. A positive is a positive no matter how faint, as long as it shows up in the proper amount of time. Congratulations!!!
I did the first response tests and my positve was very faint too. but a positive is a positive.. I think you may have had a bad test with the digital ..they shouldn't take that long.. I had one that had results in 3 minutes and with in a minute it gave me a positive response. Check the box to see how much time the test takes.. good luck!!
From what I hear on here a positive is a positive, unless you wait more than the 10 minutes, and then it could show a false positive. As for why they are faint or why some say positive while others show negative, could be due to the sensitivity of the test itself. Certain brands pick it up with less HCG in your system than others do. You should test with your first morning urine, since it is the most concentrated then. Good Luck! Sounds promising!
