Pregnancy after miscarriage

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to tell if you have actually had your period after miscarriage or if bleeding is just still part of it.  I miscarried on the 12th of october at 10 weeks (lost the baby at 6) and my body did it naturally (no D&C or D&E), I bled for about two weeks, and then it stopped for a week, and then I started bleeding again and now it has stopped.  While I was not bleeding I had my follow up appointment and my levels were back down to 1.5, which they said is normal for a woman who is not preggo, so they said the miscarriage was complete at that point.  SO should I assume that the second round of bleeding (which was a little lighter than my normal period, but heavier than spotting) was my period, and start trying to concieve now, or was it just more bleeding from my miscarriage?  Any advice or anything would be helpful.

Thats a hard one some women bleed on and off for weeks,me i mc 27th sept bleed for about 10 or so,and stopped 30 days later i got my period,well im assumeing its my period,i would say if your level were down to non preg state which is generally below 5 i think,then i would say this is your period.
