Pressure, Normal???

So I am now 20 weeks weeks but I have noticed a pressure of some sort that I get while at work. It started off getting it every now and then and recently I have noticed it everyday. I thought maybe my job being tough physically being the cause of it now I feel it no matter where I am or how long I am standing. I called my doctor and she wasn't any help so I was jus wondering if this is normal, I don't remember having this with my son so early on. It is a sort of heavy feeling down in the vaginal region up to the bottom of my belly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you ladies, my doctor had told me what I was experiencing wasn't normal but she couldn't tell me what was going on. I can still feel my little man kicking away in there and with what you ladies told me it really put my mind at ease. So thank you ladies!!!

I have the same thing with pressure and on my cervix occasionally.  It started at 18 weeks for me with occasional real contractions (less than 3 a day).  My doc just measured my cervix at my last ultrasound and said other than contractions the pressure is normal.  It usually helps if I do kegels while the pressure is there, maybe it's pushing her back up, who knows?   Oh and if the pressure is there when I have to urinate it feels like she's going to fall out.  very scary but apparently normal.

Evie1029- I have carried low in both pregnancies, isn't the baby dropping supposed to come later on?

Proudmumtobe- I don't think it is stretching only because I know what that feels like from my last pregnancy as well as this one. I feel the stretching but I have never had pressure like this until I was already close to 40 weeks last time which is why I'm worried.

I had the same feeling and was told it was normal as he was growing and I was stretching.
I felt extremely bloated and my skin felt as though it had a lot of pressure below and it was pulling

It sounds like the baby has dropped.  Do you think you look like you're carrying lower?  I would google "pregnancy lightening" (I think that's the right term) and see what it says.
