Preventing Stretch Marks

I have attempted to use Cocoa Butter, but ended up breaking out in a very itchy rash all over my belly.  My skin has always been very sensitive, and have always had problems with Eczema.  I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on another Cream or Lotion I could use.  Thanks!

Eurcerin Original Lotion is the most hypoallergenic and non-toxic.  Lubriderm Original is also good, but some of the ingredients are debatable.  Try Eucerin . . . A lot of the natural stuff is great, toxin-wise, but it has a higher probability of skin reactions.

If you want to scratch its okay since scratching doesn't cause stretch marks. Basically you get stretch marks or you don't and its based on your genes. I got a horrible rash during my pregnancy called PUPPP and I gave in and scratched so hard that I made myself bleed sometimes and I barely got any stretch markseven though I scratched all over. What you might want to try is washing 3-4 times a day with a non-scented soap. I tried everything to clear up my rash and nothing worked except to use ivory soap. It didn't make it go completely away but it did make the itching a lot easier to deal with.

I have been using Udderly Smooth. It is a really good moisturizer for your skin. You can find it at Wal-Mart. But ya, you can't really prevent stretch marks. Which sucks!

Try using palmers cocoa butter lotion.  I have sensitive skin as well and I can use it without any problems.  I also use a moisurizing soap like dove or caress.  I try hard to avoid as many stretch marks as I can.  Im 33 weeks with my 5 baby and have not gotten any marks until my 4 son.  I did not put the lotion on like I did with my first three and ended up with minimial marks around my belly button.  Good luck..
