Prune juice ?
Is it safe to give a baby diluted prune juice ? tried everything for constipation and I'm out of options!! Please help !!
Have u tried the q tip trick? Put Vaseline on a q tip, insert the tip and move it in circular motions. My baby was constipated, and the Pediatrician suggested that and she definitely had a huge blow out about the 3rd time I circled the tip lol. Also I believe u can give 2 oz of prune juice, but I would call your pediatrician fist.
No I haven't tried that cause I'm kinda nervous about it but I would definitely try that tonight ! And okay I'll call him tomorrow in the am before I give him the juice thanks !
No problem. I was scared to do it also, but it didn't even phase her while I was doing it. Just be gentle and go slow. Make sure u have quite a bit of Vaseline on the q tip. It worked wonders for me :) good luck!
Have you tried karo syrup in baby bottle of formula or breastmilk. That worked with my first baby. It takes a couple of bottles but it worked very well. The Vaseline works well also, my babies all had to poop after getting temperature taken at the Dr.
Yes! Prune juice is really good, I didn't add water I just gave it to him 1 oz. my son was 3 months after a week back on track poopin
The q tip thing didn't work for my daughter but they sell this prune juice at walgreens in the baby section....i gave her some of that and it helped her go.
Lots of time just juice will make them go. Apple, grape or the prune juice. If you have juice in the house already a ounce of that may help.
