Actually it's been used for many many yrs and is also good for after you deliver to help ur uterus get back to normal and stay healthy. My ob said not everyone will agree with it because the fda doesn't have an exact amount of how many grams of each ingredient is put into the tea and it may vary by brand. Also you never know how your body will react to it. That's why you always want to consult your ob first. I got the green light.
Im confused about rasberry leaf tea as iv always heard i should avoid it?
Target sells it, it's called
Traditional Medicinals Organic Raspberry Leaf Herbal Tea
I got mine in the organic section at the grocery store.(:
:o You actually like the taste? lol maybe its just me, I love tea but this one is just so, bad by itself. I have to add a tooooon of lemon and one spoon of sugar per cup :p
I just got some tonight. Its really good. I feel like im going to drink too much, just because of the taste. Haha(:
Welp. I'm 36 weeks lol its still worth a try I guess. I just might not be able to get some until next week
id personally start it 34-35 weeks. I started at 30 (:
I want to try this too! Will it work starting at 36-37 weeks ?
I drink it all the time to prepare for labor. They say it makes it easier and helps the uterine muscle. It won't induce labor, though. I have always been a tea drinker, and I find it relaxing to sit down and have a cup a few times a day.
It won't induce labor, it tones the uterus preparing for labor, making contactions more effective - and hopefully giving you a quicker labor.
have 3 cups of tea a day from 36 weeks.
I believe it works, my first labor without the tea was 36 hours from active labor to delivery and my second with the tea was 5 hrs from active labor to delivery :)
