Some babies just spit up no matter what. My second and third are big spitters but they are perfectly healthy. As long as baby is gaining weight and doesn't seem to be in discomfort I wouldn't worry about it. Also I don't like soy baby formula because it has a form of estrogen in it from the soy itself and I don't think its good for babies.

If baby seems like there is pain when spitting up it could be that he has reflux and needs to be put on a med like zantac.

I spit up all the time like crazy when I was a baby too and my mom said soy formula never helped me. My baby spits up every now and then really bad, but he has reflex and also screams and arches his back. It could be a sign of something else, not necessarily reflux though. Have you talked to his pediatrician about it?

I've heard soy should be a last resort BC it can cause breast development in baby boys.  I would def talk to you're pediatritian about it..
