So I gave in and tested...

Question

After last night's bizarre total lack of sleep, random nosebleed and heartburn/nausea, I couldn't wait and decided to test this morning,

And... well, I don't know!!! There was a faint, faint, faint positive line!  But it wasn't my imagination, my husband saw it too... he said, it's probably just because that's where the line WOULD be.  But I've taken tests in the past (whe we weren't actually ttc) and they never had ANYTHING in the window at all... and believe me, I stared and turned and squinted to find something, but thy were totally blank.  This definitely had a barely, barely barely visible darker shade where the line should be.  And it came up right at the 2-3 minute mark and stayed.  

Am I pregnant?!  Did anybody else have such an extremely faint positive?  Will it be darker if I test tomorrow or should I wait a couple days?!  I'm so, so excited but I'm worried I might be jumping the gun.

I have 4 very faint lines from cheap test.  That didn't convince me so I got a digital ( Wal-greens digitals are great) an it popped up PREGNANT fast.  Go get one I'm dieing to know!  Keep us posted.  Anita

congrats. i just had that "faint" plus sign too and it is getting darker every day. bleeding can also be from straining after a bm (even though it's not from your butt). especially if you have been constipated.

I had the bleeding for just the once very light as long as you are not getting pains its prob implant/withdrawal bleeding which I was told at my first scan.  Congrats!  Enjoy the next 9 months!

Thanks so much girls!  I tested again this morning and the line was definitely darker and DEFINITELY there!  No denying it - I'm pregnant!! I can't believe it!!  Hubby and I did the test together and he is thrilled.  He didn't know what to do with himself.  We're both just kind of in shock that it happened this quickly!  

The spotting was an isolated thing I guess - happened that one time during a BM and hasn't happened again so I feel better about it ... but I'm calling my doc this morning and setting up my appointment!

Test in 2 more days to get better results! then suprise hubby w/it! Personally I decorated my whole kitchen table w/baby stuff and the tests as my way of telling him!

I hope all is well but as for the line on the test when i found out i was preggo the first time i was 2 months late on my period and my line was really really faint i didnt think that i was preggo but to be sure we went to the doc and he confirmed.. And the blood thing sometimes it is completlety normal to bleed a little in the first month or two of pregnancy it could be implantation or it could be absolutley nothing.. Like sweetangel said just get in to see your Doctor and hopefully everything is Fine.. Good luck and Congrats!!

My first pregnancy also very faint, went to the Dr with husband not sure is it or is it not and the Dr's answer for very faint was very pregnant.  -  Would suggest you take another one in a few days and also a blood pregnancy test.

I'd call your doctor...It could be implantation?  Just tell them that you got a positive test Sunday and Monday you started with a blood tinged cm...They'll probably get you in and do an u/s and bloodwork.  Good luck!

Ok girls now I'm concerned.  Sorry for TMI.  I was going #2 a minute ago and I got some bloody discharge.  It was watery, thin CM with blood mixed in.  

I am really worried about it, does anybody know what might cause this?  What should I do?

I left it 2 or 3 days before testing again and the line was definately darker, i did 3 tests in total and all positive the 2nd one clearly showed a positive line.  leave it 2 after you done the first one, i know its hard to wait that long!!  but sounds to me like you are and I also had nose bleeding at the beginning which was weird seen as i never get them and i am now 15 weeks.  i also done the digital test just so you get the word "pregnant". I am blown away right now!!  I don't even know what to do with myself!!  

Hubby is conservatively excited... His face lit up when I told him that a faint line means positive and he's all smiles this morning... but he's reserving his celebration  for a more "definite" line, lol.  Always the sensible one.  He wants me to test again tomorrow to see if it's darker, do you think it will be?  I still have 2 more of the same type of test left over.  

Tomorrow if it is the same or darker I'll call my doc.  I'm jsut in shock!  Thanks so much for your info and encouragement girls!

I tested with a 2 line test at 10 dpo...you can look at my profile if you want to see it...VERY faint but I knew it was a positive because after 7 months of ttc and seeing what a bfn looks like (LOL) I knew that negatives don't show faint lines!  The next day at 11 dpo, I took a  +/- and it was clearly a + test result so for fun I took a digital to see the words pregnant =)  I'm silly!  BUT I wanted to give it to my hubby when he got home from work...Congrats!!!!!!!

When I first tested which was a few days after my period was due my positive line was very very faint but definately visable, i waited nearly a week and tested again and the line was alot more visable.  You could go to your doctor and have it confirm it.  Congrats  :o)

woohooo 2lines mean bfp CONGRATS:):) try a digitaltest they are more accurate, i done a digital and it said pregnant then aregular test and the line was very faint but still visable:)
