Still confused..?!

Ok. Long story short... Because I have advanced Endometreaosis my periods are short 3-4 days all together, they are fairly regular being usually 26-28 days apart, during my periods I have very distinctive painful cramping a few days before and during. Starting in January they started only being 2 days. My husband has been working out of the country since May and he's only home for 1 week of the month since. When he came home in June we had spur of the moment unprotected sex before he left on the 22nd. After missing my period by 5 days in July (the 6th) I took a home pregnancy test (clearblue) that came back positive..I took 2 more positive tests (first response) I set up dr appts and got settled in the thought we were having another baby. July 11th I started bleeding and went to the ER just to make sure I wasn't miscarrying. The dr examined me did a urine and blood test to double check my levels and all that other stuff and came back with the answer that I'm not pregnant, I didn't miscarry but my uterus is swollen.. Now here we are in August and I've got all the same symptoms of pregnancy I had with my son (I'm extra tired/fatigued, I smell things other people cant, I'm nausiated in the mornings ect.) I haven't had my period or any cramping, bloating, or headaches like I usually do 2-3 days before my menstration. So I again took 3 home pregnancy tests (EPT) and they all say I'm pregnant.. I went to the health department to get another blood test and its coming back negitive!! I'm just really confused, what would make either tests be wrong? Could I be pregnant and the blood test be wrong? And if the blood test it right then why are all the home pregnancy tests coming back positive?

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'm just so thankful that it happened like that rather than after I carried a baby and got excited about having one. I mean I was excited but better now than later after its began to grow and have a heartbeat. My sister in law miscarried at 5 months and it was the hardest thing to see her so hurt. I cant imagine a pain like that. I'm so thankful.

That was what I thought might be going on as well. And yes, they are very common. Every woman miscarries 1-2 times in her lifetime. Most don't know about it and just think they're having a late or strange period.

So sorry, sweetie!

I went to the doctor today and he said I more than likely had a chemical pregnancy. It amazes me how common chemical pregnancys actually are. So if there's anyone else thats having the same problem you are more than likely experiencing Chemical Pregnancy..

That's oh so confusing and I hope you get answers soon! Is it possible to go to an actual doctor, instead of the health department, to get some answers?

If HCG is in your urine, then it should show up in a blood test.
