Stripped membrane today..my DD
So today is my due date. About 4 days ago I started contracting constantly. 3 days ago I lost my mucous plug. Today I went in to be seen and I am 1 cm dilated and about 50% effaced, they stripped my membrane and sent me home.
Just wondering if anyone could tell me about any experiences with any of this? This is my first baby so I'm trying to be patient but I am beginning to get miserable and want to hold my baby boy!!

It depends on if your body is ready. One girl on the October due date forum has had her membranes stripped 4 times and is now 2 weeks past her due date. I had them stripped once and went into labor within 48 hours. Good luck and congratulations!
When they did they to me i went into labor that day and delivered in the wee hours of the morning! Congrats!
