TMI Be Prepared!
So I just got back from my doctors appointment at 4 it is now 630 and while at my doctors appointment she had checked me to see if I was dialated or not and she said I'm still closed I am 38 +3 but then I went to the washroom at around 530 and when I wiped I had lots of blood and what looked like a glob of blood like a clot is it normal the blood was very bright red and the clot was a darker red please no bashing I tried to call the doctor but they are closed I am a ftm and am kind of worried. Thank you in advance!
Not a doctor and am a ftm but I've also heard that the mucus plug does regenerate and you can lose it many times, also can lose bits of it and still have it fully intact.
Idk if its true, but I heard you can lose your mucus plug at any time and it build up once more especially if your early. Hope thats all it is girl! Good luck
I had thought I lost my mucous plug earlier, then when I went into labour I really lost it and it was pretty bloody. Doesn't hurt to double check though!
Okay thank you so much everyone! I didn't think it was my mucus plug because I swore I lost that around 35 weeks because it was like snot with pink in it but maybe it just wasn't all gone!
Sometimes when doctors do that it stimulates your cervix to start dilating. That's what happened when they checked me on my first they did that since I was over due.
If it was snotty it would be your plug. Sometimes drs checking can cause blood too. Dont stress but definitely call ur hospital where bub is being born and check if they want u to come it. It could be ur bloody show.
Im a ftm too. But it does sound like the mucus plug. Id go to the hospital just to make sure all is well. But sounds like a baby is coming soon!!!
No one should judge u hun.. I dont know the answer to this because im a ftm but if ur real worried call emergency room before going in
