Tdap immunization

Has any one got one? I just got mine yesterday (28weeks) because of dr recommendation. My arm hurts pretty bad today. It feel bruised like someone punched me. I googled it after the fact to see if that was normal (it is) but I also read that aot of pregnant women are declining the shot in fear of harming baby. Why is this? most of the sites day that there is no harm to the mother or baby. What are your guys' thoughts?

I had my tdap booster shot last week, my arm hurt for a few days but its fine now. My dr recommended it while prego because it gives the baby extra immunity, i've only heard good things about getting it

I know it prevents whooping cough and something else. I had to get it when my niece was born. My arm was soooo sore for days after!

I fell 2 days ago outside my house. I'm 35 weeks and scraped up my arm and hands pretty bad. I had to spend the night at the hospital being monitored and the doctors there recommended I get the shot. It was not nay for any infections that I could have gotten from the scratches but also to prevent transferring pertussis to the baby once she is born. They also recommended my husband get the same shot. I got mine three days ago and my arm is sill a tiny bit sore (they warned me it would be) but with all the other soreness from the fall I barely notice it. I received it with my first child and have spoken to other mothers that have gotten it with no issues. Good luck :)
