Drink lots n lots of water, dont hold in ure pee n take precautions but i definately remember my doc tellling me to drink allot of water
Im prone to them as well :( my midwife told me what everyone else is saying, wipe front to back, per after sex, don't hold in your per, drink plenty of water, cranberry pills or supplements are healthier than juice ( juice has a lot of sugar)... utis can cause premature labor so if u can have your doc prescribe u antibiotics and then once you have tokens them all take probioctics! Good luck hun!
I had quite a few in my first trimester. Remember to wipe front to back after going, and drink lots of water and cranberry juice helps too. My doc told me pregnant women are really prone to them for some reason though.
Definitely keep hydrated at all times. I attempt to drink 2 litres of water, also cranberry in supplement form is much more effective than juice! And eat properly! When I began looking after myself and eating correctly etc ive never suffered since! Good luck!!
I have the same problem.. my doctors got me taking a pill a night to avoid any bladder infections.. All I can day is drink plenty of fluids and definitely pee as soon as you feel it. If you hold it then it increases your chance of infection. The baby already presses on your bladder which prevents you from emptying it completely so the only thing you can do is drink a lot and pee a lot
I used to get them a lot preprgnancy after every one of my periods. Try cotton underwear, unscented soaps when you wash down there, and lots of cranberry juice
