Ultrasound Results - Need advice

After my 20 week ultrasound, it was discovered that there is asymmetry with the right lateral ventricle (9.6mm) and the left (7.2mm). The 3rd and 4th ventricles were not dilated. The combined screening tests have been done for downs etc and that is all fine. The babies measurements were fine as well, all within normal average growth rate.

What could this "asymmetry" mean?

Thanks for your response Clysta! I did ask my GP about what concerns I might need to know about because the two are not the same, she could not tell me! I'm waiting to speak with my OB tomorrow, hopefully he can shed some light on the topic! I was just being 'impatient' and hoping someone would have some insight before then!

Well asymmetry just means it's not symmetrical on either side. More or less that the two just aren't the same an both sides. Beyond this though I'm not sure if it would be of concern that the two aren't the same or not. You can call your doctor and they will be able to discuss if that's a problem or not.
