just a little update for those of you who answered my post last time .......went to the doct explained everything he looked at me and said "sounds like a pregnancy not sure why the hpt are showing it but who knows " so we did a blood test... he also wanted to test my thyroid 'Just in case' so waiting on the blood test results.......keeping my fingers crossed its positive!!!!!!!!!!! I'll keep you up dated thanks everyone

not exactly for sure all i know is that he said it sounded like a pregnancy but if for some odd reason it wasn't then he thinks the thyroid is to blame...he didn't really go into detail he wanted to see the blood test results..... he said that thyroids can mess up a girls period and do some crazy stuff to them ....my friend had a low thyroid and it caused her to gain massive amounts of weight... once hers was undercontrol she was able to loose it so i know it can cause you to not be able to loose weight and mess up your period ....but thats about it ....sorry i can't be of much help on  it ....i never knew that it could have any effect on a pregnancy.....with my daughter they never said anything about it....sorry i couldn't help you much

Ali can I ask what the thyroid test is for? I had my thyroid out in Janurary then just had a m/c at 6 weeks. Today they took blood tests and I heard the nurse say something about thyroid levels. I'm wondering what the effects are on pregnancy. Good luck by the way on your test!
