You would be 7 weeks pregnant you wouldn't be able to see anything the baby is very small I could barely see my baby at 8 weeks he was just a bean. I think you should get a second opinion

if your "doctor" said your 14 weeks along, and didn't see a fetus on the ultrasound, and didn't say it could have been a miscarriage.. then she's not really a doctor or one whos lost her mind! lol i had a dating scan done when i found out i was pregnant because i didn't know how far along i was, and at 7 weeks, you could DEFINATLEY see the fetus, and at 14 weeks, your into your second trimester.. this doesn't make sence to me.

My mom had her period through out her entire pregnancy with me and then with my little brother. U should definitely get a second opinion, my sister got her first u/s when she 8 weeks, my niece was So small u could barely see her...good luck hope all goes well, I'll tell u with my first son, I got a vaginal u/s at 4 or 5 weeks, all the tests came back positive, but there was nothing there, had my first actual ob appointment at about 13 weeks and his heart beat was there, thought at first I lost him...get a second opinion

They do go by your last LMP but if you have longer cycles or ovulated way later then it's possible it's too early to see anything... if your levels are rising and they have checked to make sure it's not an etopic  or tubal pregnancy then I would wait it out another a week or two just to be on the safe side.

You most definitely would be 8 weeks. It doesn't matter how far your cycle goes into a month, you go by the first day of your LMP. By this point you should have seen a fetal pole as well as a heartbeat. If your next ultrasound shows nothing it might be time to consider that the pregnancy isn't viable.

I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and there was a tiny little baby. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow. But even though your lmp was May 22 that is the date that they go by when they determine how far along you are. Even though you technically arent pregnant then that is when they start the 40 weeks. But I am glad you got a second opinion also. If it were me I would go back to the first dr and tell her that you are indeed pregnant.

Your about 5 weeks pregnant. No heartbeat will be detected by an ultrasound. The babies heart and organs are developing at this time. The ultrasound wouldn't be able to detect a heartbeat from your baby until about 2 more weeks I believe

Did an u/s today still nothing showing not even a sac the doctor wants me to come back next monday for another u/s and a hcg test my hcg levels are still rising but no doubling. My doctor wants me to consider a D&C if theres still nothing showing after next week. Has anyone went this long and had an successful pregnancy without seeing anything on their u/s?

http://www.babymed.com/hcg-level-in-early-pregnancy ---- here is a list of hcg levels and what they generally are. according to your level of just over 6,000 the yolk sack still has yet to appear. i would go for a second opinion for sure! To me it sounds like you are still early in pregnancy. please get a second opinion!

I went to er because I had a positive pregnancy test and was spotting...they couldn't see much or detect a heartbeat and said I was 6 weeks wanted to do a d and c and terminate said it was fetal demise. Went to my doctor a few days later and their u/s technician said same results...my doctor told me I could wait a week and have another ultrasound...and sure enough their was a heartbeat....turns out I was only An few weeks at time of first ultrasound....now I am 21 weeks 6 days and everything is progressing fine....I would really recommended getting a second opinion.....

I would def get a second opinion ... The same thing happened to me they said I had a missed miscarriage and wanted to do a d&c twice going off the measurement of the gest sac good thing I told them no .... They said that I should have been seven weeks they were wrong They saw nothing and heard no heartbeat!!! An almost killed my baby I decided to wait a few weeks and told them if it was goin to be a miscarriage then I would let it happen naturally ... I went back in two weeks and they asked me if I wanted the procedure again I told them no and that I wanted an ultra sound an what do you know there was the baby and a healthy heart beat and I was 7 weeks 3 days and 2 weeks ago they tried to tell me I was 7 weeks when I knew they were wrong ... It's def too early for them to see anything ... I had the same spotting as well !!! Just wait a few weeks and go back for an u/s... I will keep you and your little one in my prayers

good that the new dr knew you were only 7 weeks along....it's possible that you just ovulated a little later than you thought so hopefully your hcg will keep climbing and then in a week or two you will be able to something on the ultrasound... I wouldn't worry if you aren't having any pain or bleeding
