Sometimes as women we have to go thru and do stuff for the sake of our babys that isnt always pleasant, but ya do what ya gotta do for the well being of your unborn child... vitamins gives that extra security that your giving yourself and your baby what you may be lacking in your diet... my vitamin has been very hit and miss weither it will make me feel very sick but i still take them... i think in the end its absolutely worth it!

I hate them too!
I started taking them even while we were at the planning stage which is a good thing because the best time to add folio acid is a month before and first two weeks of the pregnacney.
So I had been taking those bill for months now and I'm only at 16wks. They really started to gross me out. I'm think about stopping every night when I have to take them and keep telling myself just a few more days. Wonder if there is a good time to stop and be ok.

Even if u can just get folic acid of your doc until sicknesd goes away.. They r only little and very important I do believe.. Just try and eat some fruit everyday until sickness goes away or starts to subside and then start the vitamins I mean if its really unbearable right nw.. I wud def take folic acid tho big must :)

Take them at dinner after you eat, with a full glass of water. You can try the CitraNatal b-calm which has extra vitamin B to help with morning sickness. It's truly amazing prenatal vitamin. I would def take the prenatal. Recent studies show those who don't are more likely to have a child born with birth defects and autism

The only concern with gummy vitamins is very few (if any) have Iron in them, which is very important while pregnant. The amount of blood in your body increases quite a bit, so the amount of Iron you need close to if not completely doubles.

It's important to take Prenatals not only for baby but also your own body. I understand having troubles with them (I often vomited mine up) but not taking them can cause more problems down the road.

If you can't swallow them look into the fintstone chewables. My midwife recommended them when I was getting sick off every prenatal I tried.

ya because your not eatting a well balanced diet, i would say now is especially not the time not to take your vitamins... you can talk to your dr about other options or even the pharmacist should have a good idea... i definitely would try anything and everything i could do to take them as you have no guarantee that baby can go without the extra vitamins as well as yourself... i wouldnt risk it anyway... ive been sick what feels like forever now and i take mine at night as well

most vitamins make me feel sick. I learned that I just need to take them right before i go to bed.   then I'm good.    I would suggest cutting them in half and take them right before bed.

okay i was nervous too, i am horrible at taking pills, choke easily lol, and when i saw them for the first time i am like yah right lol.. But i suggest you take them, while your pregnant you can lose alot of nutrients, and need things that will help the baby grow healthy like folic acid is a big thing, but all the vitamins are important. anyways what i did was just cut the pill in half and take the two halves.. OR take a look around the drug store, i know they are coming out with drinks expecting mothers can have, not sure what nutrients they have though,.
