When did you go into labor?

I'm a FTM and I just wanted to know when did you ladies go into labor with your first? Was it painful? Does it hurt when they're coming out? Does the IV hurt? How long was it before you were up and walking? What pains did you have after? It would be really helpful if someone answered.

I had my first at 35 weeks. My contractions started at 4 am at 7 i went to the hospital and was 3cm with contractions every 4mins they tried stopping my labor which didnt work at 8am i was admitted. At 7cm they gave me the epidural which didn't work they broke my water right after at 10mins later at 1105am I was fully dialated and at 1135am he was born. For me the whole process was extremely painful but completely worth it :) I'm currently 14 weeks with #2

I was due jan 16th ended up having my baby dec19th at 36 weeks my waters broke at half 8 at night on the 18th had him at 16.03 on the 19th he weighed 6lb 2oz.

Labour was easy got epidural at 2cm then went from 2 to 10cm in 4 hours pushed for 2 hours and still no baby. They told me he was stuck had to have a episiotomy and forceps.

Most painful thing ever but I'd do it all over again and am sooner than expected as I'm pregnant again :)

I had my first at 39w6d and my water ended up breaking at home at 5 am. I got to the hospital around 6 am. I wasnt contracting like they wanted me to after awhile so they put me on pitocin. They also put me where i couldnt get out of bed because they had to monitor baby vaginally because she kept moving away from the belly monitor. I made it until 8 cm without the epidural. Well I got that then slept for 2 hours. I had my daughter after less than 2 contractions.

The IV wasnt too horrible just uncomfortable because I had to have it in over night. I was up walking maybe a half hour after to go pee. The pain that I had afterwards was pretty bad from stitches but that left after about a week or so.

My first born I went into labour at 2 Monday morning at first I didn't know it was labour it was really bad back ache that came and went and I could sit or lie still they got worse and worse I didn't have him till 3.20 Tuesday morning over 25 hours later but he was back to back. I had no I v just gas and air the contractions hurt allot! Get worse and worse till the end m. Pushing is actually good because you feel like you need to do it and it helps. I was up and about the next day only to the loo and back I was really sore but after a week I was okay just don't do too much as it can make your bleeding worse. I was only 17 when I had him now expecting baby number 2 xxx
