Any result read after the ten minute time frame is negative, regardless of the color.
If you go to the peeonastick.com Under the number 12. "The line appeared after the 10-minute time limit. Is it still positive?" read a cautionary tale... it sounds a lot like your situation
A real positive is identified by its color (pink or blue, whatever the color of the test's dye is) AND its appearance within 10 minutes of urinating on the stick. A line that appears after 10 minutes, regardless of color, must be considered an evap line and is caused by the test's chemicals changing. HPT's are rapid assay diagnostics, which means any results appearing after the "rapid" time limit of 10 minutes are invalid.
Hey there, if you have two lines that are both the same colour that is a positive test, an evaporation line is a greyish coloured line that sort of looks like a dent in the test where the positive test line should be, you will only see an evaporation line on a negative test, the test is negative only if you have a coloured line in the control window and no coloured line in the test window, if you have two coloured lines on the test that means the test is positive and you are pregnant, I would go see your doctor to confirm. hope this helped a little, good luck and all the best :) x
PeeOnAStick .com is a good site with lots of info about preg tests
Unless the line shows up in the reccomended amount of time then it is negative, not all tests, even same brands, same packages will show an evap line... even if the other 2 dont have one, that one is still and evap line...
