i there if you are pregnant it is safe to use the monistate seven day, that was all I was aloud to use while pregnant I think I got 2 or 3 yeast infections while pregnant.  I would test or wait until your period stops and then wait till your period is over to use the monistat b/c its not effective if using while on your menstraul cycle. Good luck hun!

Just ask your pharmacist what they recommend. I was recommended Canestan and mine told me that a pregnant woman shouldn't use anything until they are past their 12 weeks or so. Try cold compresses for now until you can find treatment.

I use AZO for my yeast infections they have a pill you can take that gets rid of AND prevents infections. I get them about every two or three months and AZO works great but I'm not sure about while pregnant, but I'm 5 weeks and that is one of the first questions on my list of things to ask the doc about, I know I didn't really answer your question but hopefully you will keep AZO in mind!!! Good Luck!! And Congratulations on being pregnant!!!!!!

I have consulted my OB about this (I'm 19 weeks pregnant) and she recommended Monistat or other over the counter treatments, so I would say it is safe to use during pregnancy. I haven't used it yet, though. She also recommended getting the 3- or 7-day ones because the 1-day might not be as effective. Hope this helps.
