I am right with you all. I have been getting what I call "Holiday Periods". I got my period on Halloween, then on Thanksgiving, so of course my period was expected on Christmas Eve. Did it come? No!

I am 7 days late now, with all negative tests. I went to do a blood test today because it is driving me insane! The longest cycle i had was 37 days, right now I'm at 36. I'll find out either Saturday or Monday if the blood test comes back

I did have a miscairrage two years ago, a blighted ovum, so my husband and I aren't really expecting anything. I secretly hope I'm pregnant though! When I was pregnant before I miscarried, I tested for a positive pregnancy the day after I missed my period.

My hopes are that I am not creating all of this in my head because like all of you I want to have a baby with my husband. I am just nervous there is something wrong with me that will not allow me to have a baby.

Best wishes to all of you! Happy New Year!

Best of wishes to all of you, I hope the results come out in your favor! Good luck! :o)

My period was also due on the 1st of December and still hasn't arrived.   I've taken about 3 HPTs now, all negative, but I'm not really worried about it yet because my cycle can vary by about 2-4 days sometimes.   It happens. :)

Anyway, I've been reading up on HPTs and the various things they *don't* tell you about that can mess up the results (give you a false negative).   First of all, if your urine PH isn't correct, it can cause the hCG to break down to where an HPT won't pick up on it.    This can happen if you're dehydrated or if you have a kidney/bladder infection.    Another thing is that you get a more accurate result if you test by dipping the test stick into a cup of your urine instead of putting it into the stream.

Also, hCG levels vary wildly per individual and you may have ovulated later in your cycle than you thought..  The best thing to do is just keep taking one home urine test per week until your period is a month late.  If AF hasn't shown up by then and you're still not pregnant, your doctor can give you a shot to restart your period and check you for ovarian cysts.

And just a final thing.... Make sure your doctor does a quantitative blood test rather than a qualitative.   Qualitative tests just check for a yes or no answer, a full blood test can check for hormone levels.

I'm right there with you, if your period hasn't started.  I'm ~8 days late now with multiple symptoms and I'm rarely ever more than 2 days late over a 32 day cycle.

Good luck :)

early pregnancy symptoms can be very similar to PMS. Bloatedness around the abdomen.. sore bb's, cramps, mood shifts..
If you are spotting already, it could be the start of your period. If the spotting goes away, test again after a week.
