ambien

I've looked up a lot about ambien during pregnancy and I haven't found anything saying you shouldn't take it or that it'll harm the baby.

Has anyone spoken to their doctor about ambien? I've had ambien prescription for years and it's really hard for me to sleep.

No I'm not addicted, I used to take it only once or twice a week. It wasn't an every day thing. But it gets sooooo hard for me to sleep some nights so I'm wondering if it's safe.

One of my friends also said that their doctor actually prescribed her ambien when she was pregnant. So that also leads me to believe it's okay to take.

My doctor wanted to prescribe me Ambien during pregnancy because I had restless leg syndorome which was making it hard for me to sleep more than 30 minutes at a time. I told him no because I don't tolerate sleep aids well but I assume it's safe because he was offering it to me. You should probably ask your doctor to just in case before you take any medication during pregnancy but I assume it is ok. Again I'm not a doctor though lol

And the tolerance wasn't "built" from taking meds all the time. I hardly ever take meds. Literally only when they're prescribed to me. I just happen to be cursed. Haha

I have to take ambien because other sleep aids literally do not work.

My body has a VERY high tolerance despite my skinny frame. With alcohol, I have to take at LEAST 7 shots of straight tequila or 4 shots or whiskey to even catch a buzz.

With vicoden, I have to take 4 to 5 to feel relaxed.

With sleep meds, I have to take two ambien for it to work, and NO other pain meds will work because none are even nearly as strong as ambien.

With laughing gas it took them over 45 minutes just to put me under lol. They had to keep asking me "do you feel anything?" And they had to turn it on high after a while.

When I used to smoke week, the first time I smoked two full blunts by myself of very sticky and potent weed and I still hardly felt anything.

Like.....my body just has a very very very high tolerance for **** lmao. And trust me....it really *****.

I dont recommend any medication while your pregnant. In fact it is strongly recommended not to take medication unless you absolutely have to, as in an infection or something that can harm the baby to where taking medication is necessary for you and the baby's health.
