Thanks ladies! I went today and the doc gave me the zofran! she told me to cant take it up to 3 times a day! im really hopin it works!!! o n i found out i go for another ultrasound next week!!
ZOFRAN!!!! You will have to ask your doctor for it because it's a prescription. I should be an expert in the morning sickness category lol. I actually had what they call hyperemisis gravidarium which means excessive puking during pregnancy and for me it didn't end until delivery. I lost 30lbs DURING each of my pregnancies from the "morning sickness" and was hospitalized several times. The zofran worked for me for about 2 weeks. Since you are not as severe I think it would probably be a miracle drug for you :) Call your doc and give it a try it's safe in pregnancy. Good luck
I did the ginger root and saltines...I threw up even in the delievery room..Had the IV and all that. My 4 yo son turned out just fine =)
Thanks everyone!! it really ***** today i have been gettin sick alot like i cant eat so im throwin up stomach vial i called the doc n we are givin it a lil more time to see if it stops on its own but if not i have to go the the er n get an iv put in to help keep me hydrated.... im really worried i hope it doesnt hurt the baby... n i hope it doesnt last long!
Ginger is aweome. I get motion sickness and Ginger root was the only thing that did it for me. I swear by the ginger root gravol however I have read much debate on using it on the internet. Some say its fine, others don't since the Gravol pack says not recommended for pregnancy. Others just say thats a disclaimer so you'd have to ask your doctor if the anti-nausea gravol is ok. I havn't had issues yet so I havn't had the need to look into it. I would ask your DR ant the next appointment to be safe.
But yeah try Ginger root it's awesome.
I was getting sick all day long, every day for a couple of weeks until I got the Sea Bands. You can get them at the pharmacy and they help SO much. The preggie pops didn't help me as much. Then I also got a prescription anti-nausea med from the doctor.
I know how bad it ***** when you can't find anything to eat that will stay with you or you just look at food and have to run to throw up what little you've been able to eat.
I would definetly recommend trying to get water down, though, to at least dilute the acid in your stomach. I threw up yesterday and the acid burned my throat so bad it took hours to get better. I really feel for you because it felt awful.
I hope you find a solution soon!
sometimes lemon drops help too and b12 i think is the one im sorry ur feeling this way it can make it so hard to enjoy being pregnant and then u feel guilty cuz it actually ***** i had it hard with my first and i woukd cry cuz its so bad but i got better and was able to enjoy being pregnant i hope u feel better. xxx
Thank you im eatting light like i never have a want to eat so i force myself to eat so i know im getting the baby the food he/she needs like in the morning ill get a yogurt or a bagel n ill try to eat toast or pbj sandwich for lunch and whatever for dinner! it really is no matter what it comes up even ice cream!!! Like WTH i dont get it! i go back to my doc on thursday so ill def be bringing this up to her!
Thanks i just ordered the drops this sickness just ***** its like no matter what im getting sick.
What kind of foods are you eating? If it's anything fried, greasy or heavy it could be making it worse. Try to eat light, small meals. Breads, soups, crackers. If you're still not able to hold anything down, you could talk to your doctor about getting anti-nausea medicine to prevent dehydration and weight loss.
I had the same problem when I was pregnant with both of my boys and nothing seemed to work. You can try sea bands, hot water and ginger, eating smaller meals but the best things that I found this pregnancy was Preggie Pops. They are 100% natural and they sell them at Babie's R Us and at some Targets. They are wonderful and work really well and are not very expensive. I hope you feel better soon =)
