baby dropped at 35wks

my baby dropped 2 days ago.....at 35 weeks now i habe a lot of pressure down there and am worried so much I had a preterm labor theretened me at 26 weeks and have been at bedrest since then...what is my chance keeping the baby undtil 37 or 38 weeks my belly was vbery high now very very low and ugly...give me any advice to keep the innocent bab;y a little longer...

i haven't had any threats of preterm labor, but my baby dropped at 35 weeks and i am now 38 weeks.  ...and i don't think she is coming anytime soon!!  i think you will be fine.  just continue to follow doctors orders and take things easy.  on a side note, you have made it to 35 weeks and that is great!  baby will be fine if born now, however, it would be ideal if he/she baked for a couple more weeks to be sure that the lungs are ready to breathe well out in the world :-)  good luck and congratulations!

i can't think of any ways to really keep him baking....except maybe stay off your feet when you can? that way, he doesnt have ALL the opportunity of dropping for real lol.....

but you know, if you can make it 2 more weeks, he'll be fine, he'll be a preemie, but not considered a "high risk" preemie(born before 33-34 weeks i think?)

I was in the same boat that you are now in... When I was at 25 weeks I get taken out of work and was in the hospital because they had to stop my preterm labor... My baby also dropped at about 35 weeks and they induced my labor at 39 weeks 4 days.... Also my Dr said that A LOT of women go into preterm labor and they have to induce labor because they dont want to come out...haha I was in labor for 36 hours so he didnt want to come out  when it was time.
