Great, thanks for letting me know. I did a HPT this morning and got a negative :( but there was a faint dot in the positive line so i still have hope. Plus i am so impatient, AF is not due for another 7 days so i took it too early. I need to know! Yesterday i had aches in my lower back and a crampy tummy but they are the only symptoms i have. Is it still too early?

Fairy200-- They can be more sensitive than a pregnancy test. There are two different kinds of blood tests, a qualitative, and a quantitative. The qualitative the hcg level has to be so high, like a pregnancy test to register a positive... the quantitative the test measures the exact number of hcg in your blood. So if your hcg count is 10, it probably wouldn't register on a home pregnant test yet, but the blood test can tell you.
