breast feeding tips??!!

Hey ladies!! Anyone have any tips for breast feeding? I BF my 1st for 8 weeks & would like to go longer this time. Last time I seemed to just stop producing. I tried fenugreek vitamins but didn't seem to help. Anyone know of any vitamins or special diets that help produce milk?

Oh cool I didn't know there was a separate forum just for that. I will check it out. I've never heard of that tea but I will give it a shot. Thanks for the advice!!

There's a breastfeeding forum that may offer more help.
I've tried oatmeal and mothers organic milk tea and to me both have helped quite a lot.

I pumped last time as well. At first I would get 4 ounces or so each time but towards the end I would barely get an ounce. I heard oatmeal helped too.

You also have to see if youre milk supply is really low often mothers think its low when it really isn't. If you're baby is gaining weight well on breast milk alone then you don't have a problem with milk supply.

If you feed the baby often you will keep producing milk.  you have to eat a higher calorie diet. Oatmeal is a natural milk producing agent, offer both sides at each feeding, and you can also pump after each feeding this will help keep you're milk supply.
