My body just doesn't produce the hormone before 6 to 8 wks. Babys are just fine but I'm just weird. U/s confirmed at almost 10wks. Beta bblood tests don't work for everyone. U/s shows normally about 4-6 wks. I know the waiting game is stressful just relax and i hope everything works in your favor.

I had bad stomach pains around the time I would implanted, went to the ER and they said it was a hemorrhaging cyst. Went back to monitor the cyst and they found a sac. Wouldnt say cramping though, If you're having cramping like period cramps I'd call the doc, they will fit you in for severe symptoms.

I'm in the same boat. Had an ultrasound find a sac at 6 weeks, but I'm 8 weeks now and still getting negatives on urine and blood. Waiting for a repeat ultrasound, but I will let you know if I figure this out!

For what? Ultrasound or blood work? Blood work is accurate as early as 9 DPO (which is roughly 3-4 weeks pregnant) and ultrasound can be done and see a pregnancy as early as 5 weeks. For est results however, you should wait till 6 weeks for an ultrasound.

It's not the first time I've heard of a case like lindisima's with a ridiculously low beta reading early on. Could be the labs screwed up, could be we just still don't know that much about HcG production in some women. What we know for sure is that this type of case is very rare.

Re the OP's question, I'd recommend taking it easy and waiting a couple weeks. Quit driving yourself crazy with the home tests, just eat right, get enough sleep and knock off any unhealthy habits (alcohol, cigs). See if your period is just late. By six-eight weeks pregnant -- if you're pregnant -- they should be able to tell you something on ultrasound.

@ lindisima828 -First thing that can confirm a pregnancy is beta blood test not ultrasound.if it is below 5 it means you are not pregnant or doing the test even before implantation. You might have ovulated later in your cycle when you conceived that cud be the reason of not showing in beta test.

That was likely due to error on the labs part, not the test. You can not be pregnant and have no hCG, it just doesn't happen.

My beta test showed a 1 when i was 5wks preg. Those are supposed to be more accurate but still didn't show till 9 and a half wks. U/s i think is the way to know for sure.

Its not a surprise your test was negative, it was done too early.

Aaliyah--If you have symptoms of pregnancy, it stands to reason that the test would have already shown positive already. Blood tests are rarely wrong. You need to have a beta test to check your hCG levels. If its under 5, you're not pregnant.

If you are pregnant then it wd show in Beta HCG blood test for sure.It would give the levels of HCG in blood instead of positive or negative result.M not sure which test u have gone for but if it is just telling you positive or negative it is not Beta test.

I had a progestrone BT at CD21 and then the pregnancy BT after CD35.   They told me from my progestrone levels that they were pretty sure i was preggers but that i needed to wait for it to be confirmed after the next BT.

they wouldn't do an U/S before 8 wks so you may have to wait a bit for that too.

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and had a blood test at 4 weeks that was negative. That's the second time I've had a negative blood test and was pregnant.
