cervix question

Ok, so I'm 31 weeks pregnant and because of me going into preterm labour once last week, I have to be really careful what I do and one of those things is I can't have sex, but I found I could still have oral pleasure and such. So my husband was fingering me and all that :p and he stopped all of a sudden because he felt as if our son had kicked him or pushed against his fingers, he said it felt hard and is certain it was Walter our son pushing against him. So he stopped and didn't go any further. He isn't sure if he went inside my cervix, apparently its very confusing inside there haha, but I wanted to just check and make sure no one thinks it could trigger labour again or if he harmed our baby? Thanks

Orgasms actually cause the uterus to contract which can lead to preterm labor! I would lay of sexual activity until post baby. I'm sorry/:

My doctor just performed a cervix check Tuesday. He absolutely felt my daughter's head already. I'm not dilated yet but completely effacing and she has dropped so I'm sure that's what he felt. No reason he couldn't.
I would suggest even staying away from this though, if you are already dilating you are more prone to infection!

Sorry if my comment wasn't helpful. I think if anything you should call your doctor and ask if this could have affected your baby. When they say stay clear of sex it's because anything from penetration to an orgasm can cause early labor. I just don't think it's safe but if you want to be see your doctor.

Not trying to be rude but sex obviously involves penetration, which you said your not allowed, then you let your partner finger you? That's penetration!

The doctors actually don't want you to have a penetration at all. I also was going to into preterm labor and my doctor was being really careful when she's was checking how far I was open because she didn't want to open me anymore more then I already was.

Also, he says it was soft and squishy around the are he was touching except for the hard object that suddenly pushed against him, which makes him certain it was our son. We are just unsure as to if the kickt was through the cervix wall or if he had accidentally gone through past it..
