clearblue fertility monitors ?

Hi well i recently purchased a clearblue fertility monitor,started uing it from last cycle on which ist day af was 15 days ago.,but since thu the monitor has been on high.so out curriosity bought clearblue ovulation sticks.well i use them in the afternoon about 2pm,this my 3rd stick and to day i got my smiley face.question is,why does my fertility monitor in morning say high and not peak.when ov stick in afternoon says happy face.should i go by the smiley,i have also just strated ovulex,can this affect the results,many thanks....

Ok guys thanks so much.i got smiley face yesterday,and today got my peak on the monitor,finally so today must be the day.so im gonna cook a nice romantic meal.and pull all the stops out.good luck to you mamaofonetrying42 lets hope this is our months.wishing you luck...

Hi there, I would go with the smiley face. I have been using OPK and took my 1st + today as well!

This is what I think I can tell you based on what I've used in the past. Using the ovulation sticks....when you saw the smiley, that is telling you that you should ovulate within the next 36-48 hours. So that actually gives you a little more window of time. When you use the fertility monitor - it will give you the peak time much much closer to your time of ovulation. Hope this helps.

i just finished eading a book about conception....in it they go through details about the OPK's.....it says you shouldnt test in the morning..its not reliable....you need to do it in the afternoon or the evening(or both for the most reliable results).......hope this helps!
