Has absolutely nothing to do with anything you do, I found out after my nephew was born last year it was genetic for mine since he ended up having it also which in most cases it is in males! I took him at just a couple weeks old to start the process, it didn't delay his crawling or walking he started walking the day after his first birthday! I also didn't even find out until he was actually born and noticed his feet facing each other, looked like a little froggy! But he is now 4 years old and yes everything looks perfect and able to do everything normally so don't worry!
so he had to wear that for 9 months and his foot became perfect im glad you told me cause i was feeling like i did something wrong so when did they start putting that cast one when he was a few days old?
My second son was born with clubbed feet and it can either be genetic or if they are in a weird position, he had to get 3 sets of casts to slowly turn the feet which are all the way up the legs to almost the diaper and had his heel cords cut then they switched to the shoe braces that have a bar going across the bottom to the attached shoes that they also will slowly adjust but now his feet are perfect! He had everything off by 9 months and had started crawling while his shoe braces were still on which you are only supposed to take off long enough to change clothes and bathe, they even tell you to keep them on for diaper changes! Oh and keep in mind when clothes shopping to not get footed pajamas bc they will not be used! Good luck, if ya have any questions feel free to ask!
