I had a tattoo done in sep 09 and me and my husband were trying to get pregnat so before of getting the tattoo done i did a pregnacy test even though i had my period that month and came negative.  my last period was in oct thats what i thought until i just found out im 14 weeks.  i believe i was already pregnat when i had the tattoo done, my question is  what could happen to my baby? is there anything i should do like tests or someting i am very worrried.

Most reputable tattoo parlors follow strict sanatation guidelines, so your baby should be perfectly fine!

As long as the needle was new and you didn't get hepatitis, you're fine.

I would think if the tattoo didn't cause any infections, you should be fine, but it is always best to address this with your doctor.  My daughter has a lower back tattoo and she was concerned she couldn't have an epidural when she delivered her daughter, but they did it anyway.  I guess it wasn't such a big deal after all.

Be sure to mention it to your doctor though.
