Krissy55555 I can understand that. I used to be the exact same way until I went to nursing school and then suddenly I was the student in the room. Its awkward at first but it also helps if your student is confident as well. As for having a male Dr it does take some getting used to but they can be just as awesome if not more so than a female Dr. I know two very very good male OB/GYNs and I'd be going to one of them if they didnt deliver only at hospitals over an hour from my house

Krissy55555,don't be afraid to talk in front of students, that's how they learn and they are held to the same confidentiality standards as your Dr.

Thats a plus because i like fruits & vegggies, i always go over on my fruit & veggies volture that wic gives me every month lol. & my nurses have told me its okay but my dr its like he always has a student there with him lol so its awkward to talk to him. I just hope that after the next appt he dont have students down there checking me to see if ive dialated any cause they can barely find the heart beat right he has to help them everytime

Trust me your doctor will bring it up to u if they are concerned... everytime u go in an get weighed they look at that and a chart and if they think u have gained to much to little they will say something. I brought it up to my doctor because I am worried about getting fat she said im still in my chart and I can prevent extra weight gain by eating fruits veggies drink lots of water and walk

I'm very cautious of my weight because I'm not supposed to gain more than 15 lbs my entire pregnancy. 20-25 is usually what's recommended ... So far I'm doing well because I'm 9 weeks and down 8 lbs lol
