Lexi used close to 10 as a newborn. She literally either peed or had a bowel movement every two to three hours.
up to what age are they concern as a new born , i bought 10 diaper case that has 184 in each of them , should i buy more newborn or should i go up size? thanks :)
The newborns diapers should have a weight size on them.. The ones I have that are labelled specifically for newborns, say up to 10lbs..
I bought a 2nd box of 1-2, which says up to 15lbs...
then i think i bought liitle too much , maybe i should return some of them and get the sizeh 1-2
If you bought 10 cases of NB sizes, you bought far too many. Some babies never use NB sizes. My daughter used them for a month or so before we moved her into a size 1, and she stayed in those for awhile. More than likely you'll only use a case of NB diapers and that's it.
thanks then i am going to return 9 of them :)
I was told to get two cases of NB diapers.... I ended up buying 1 box... I can see how you can go through them fast at times but at the same time, if your baby is born at 8-9lbs, you are pretty much almost out of the NB diapers...
Lexi was in newborn diapers for two months and we had to buy extra newborn diapers. We had one box of them and then a couple boxes of ones and a pack of threes. Honestly, it really depends on the baby as to how long they stay in newborn diapers. I would exchange some of those boxes for ones or two or something. 10 boxes of newborn diapers is quite a lot.
Colton went from newborn at birth to size two at 3 months. That being saidhe is a chunk!!!
both my sister and i started out with size 1-2 and her son was 7lbs something and my daughter was 9 lbs 2 oz... so either way its a safe size to have on hand...
Each baby is different - your baby's birth weight may be larger or smaller. I wouldn't go overboard with NB sized diapers just in case baby is on the larger side.
One thing I've heard of people doing is getting a gift card (to Walmart or Target) and adding $20 every paycheck or so and then using that gift card to get whatever diapers they needed in the correct sizes.
Thanks all of u for ur the responses, now I have some idea :)
