Sorry if i didnt spell the title rite..but i get diarreha with almost everything i put on my stomach.. has anyone ever experienced this.. i will be 5 weeks on friday

Iv had it on and off, mostly in my second trimester, now im in my third and im constipated. I think its part of pregnancy.

I had Diarrhea the last couple of weeks. I'm 34 weeks now and was in and out of hospital for week 31/32 of my pregnancy. They kept me in for a few days then released and then back in again. I was put into isolation incase i had some bug and was on IV drips for dehydration. It wasnt a bug in the end, i figured out myself what it was. I take Zantac becuz i have severe acid reflux even before pregnancy as i have a hernia and athe pharmacy had given me a substitute call Gertac but the packaging looked the exact same. I noticed it when there was only 2 tabs left. And then I remembered that i got better in the hospital becuz they were giving me Zantac in there and then they would release me and i'd take the Gertac and i got diarreha again. Look up the tabs and it says a rare side effect is diarrhea. I threw them out and got better straight away. Now i make sure i say to the pharmacist that i dont want any substitute i want the Zantac.

Your diarrhea could be anything. If it is really watery then you need to go the hospital becuz if you dehydrate your womb can begin to contract.

I had diarrhea when I was about 7 weeks and was throwing up I got so dehydrated I had to go to the hospital for fluids ... They told me to stay away from all dairy ( milk, eggs and so on) for a few days and drink lots of water, poweraide or anything with electrolights. try some pepto And Imodium works but some doctors recommend you don't take it till the 2nd tri. If it gets too bad go to the ER.I hope I could help. I hope you feel better soon.
