doubt in ovulation

hi ,
i am 28 and i am always correct with my cycle of 30 days.. i am TTC , is it possible that ovulation can occur late , that is after the fertile period ?
i had my lmp on Oct 19th , so accordingly i should ovulate between 28th to 5th nov . how ever i felt i ovulated only on 8th is it normal ? or do i have any health issue associated?

In case you ovulate during period(which is a rare case) you will have your next period then new cycle will start and  you will ovulate again followed by another period. In case you miss ovulation you have to wait for another ovulation but before next ovulation you will have one period in between.I hope it helps.

Yes, you will only ovulate once in a given cycle. Some women with irregular periods might ovulate during their period, but this is very uncommon. All women ovulate before their period, as ovulation is what triggers a period--not vise verse.

Women will usually ovulate 2 weeks before their next period is due. Based on your LMP and your cycle days, you would have ovulated November 5th. Your ovulation for December would be around December 4th. What is it that made you suspect you ovulated on the 8th? That would give you a luteal phase of only 9 days, making conception difficult. Anything under 10 days is considered to be a luteal phase defect. Average is anywhere from 10-17 days, with most women have one of 14 days.

You can not say for sure when you ovulated or what is your fertile period untill you use OPK or ultrasound .you will ovulate during your fertile period not later but if you are calculating fertile period on the basis of your 30 days cycle then you could be wrong also because you can ovulate late in some cycles and will have longer cycle this time.If you get longer cycle once that does not mean there is any health issue since due to many resons you might have ovulated late in this cycle  (like stress, medicine, travel). If you have a cycle of 30 days ,you should have your Nov cycle by now but you did not.I think you should do HPT once and if it is negative and you do not get your period in next 4-5 days then repeat the test.In case you ovulated late you will have late implantation.
