Yes they do. And there's a chance your baby could be taken if there is ANY trace amount of drugs in their system.

Some hospitals do and some don't. However, if there are drugs in the Babys system they are suppose to call cps even if its at a low dose. However if one tells their doctor that it might be expected, it can make a huge difference in whether cps is called or not. My friend had her baby taken away from the hospital because of thc :(

The information from other posts on here are true &they say it's okay to smoke m when you're pregnant, and by they I mean people who,are users cause in all reality it's BAD for the baby. Stay away from it. If it's around you secondhand, tell whoever to move away.

I told my dr I smoked due to sickness and insomnoa and he told me they wont drug test unless they suspect the mother is a bad drug addict. Drug tests cost a lot of money. But it really depends on the hospital. But I would for sure tell ur doctor because that way he's aware and wont order one.

It's required if you're on state insurance, and any amount warrants a cps call, good luck!

Well I dnt smoke an my Dr office test every visit. And my sister had used my Dr n I told her to stop bt she didn't so by the time she did it wasn't in her system anymore bt was still in her unborn child so wen she had my niece Sumbodi had to go n sign for temporary custody fa the baby so she wudnt have to go with cps. So in the state of TX sweeti they check for all drugs even pain killers so I advise u to stop bcuz cps isn't anything to play with I wouldn't wish that on anyone
