early movement?

I'm 12 weeks and ive been noticing little taps here and there and ive been ignoring it but just now I felt obvious taps on my side of my stomach... I'm wondering is this something else or its possible that my baby is already moving. I'm a first time mother so I'm new to this. Anyone else experienced this?? Should I be ignoring it?

I felt little flicks at 12 weeks. Noticeable kicks at 14 weeks. And started seeing her kicks at 18 weeks. It's definitely possible. :)

Omg lol @alison that's so funny. That's what I think my stubborn child is doing in there.  I only feel it if I'm screaming or sitting still quietly making sure I'm not crazy.

Lol @debi haha your not paying it any mind

Iv been feeling my baby moving since 8 weeks it was conformed at my scan that what i was feeling was bubs movements. I recently had surgery tho that means my womb is sitting higher and more forward then it is meant to and my doctors believe that is why iv been feeling him/her since so early. It wasn't bub kicking that i could feel it was actually bub head butting me is what the ultrasound chick said

^^^ baby is not way too small. I'm now 13 weeks but I'm measuring at 14 weeks and 5 days.  I inquired on these early movements down in pelvis or lower stomach with my doctor and he said that it very well maybe him or her. I knew I wasn't crazy lol every woman is different and every pregnancy is too

Baby is way too little and covered with too much protection and cushion to be felt that early. This is a common question because the anticipation of feeling baby for the first time is unbearable trust me lol I was the same way and its my 3rd! But there is so much going on in your belly that could be causing it other than gas but its not quite baby yet

No ik when it's gas lol but thanks!  I guess it's different for everybody. My doctor said I should feel it mostly at 16-20 weeks.  It happened again today also btw !

It's more like a fluttering, you can feel him or her shuffle or turn around almost

Could be gas. I thought the same thing early on. But when you feel your baby move you will know it, which will probably be closer to 20+ weeks. At 12 weeks babies are so small that it is virtually impossible to feel them move, though they do. It also depends on how thin you are. Could be muscle spasms because your stomach is stretching.
