labour doesnt scare me so much BT my three main worries that got me freaking out is d tear in during birth, d bleeding after birth. ( y soo much maternity pads?? 0.0) and breast feeding. I've seen wat those babies do to ur nipples.
Women most often tear because they push too hard and too fast. When you reach 10 cm, don't just start pushing. That can take 3 hours. Wait until you actually feel the urge. You'll push for way less time.
The bleeding is only heavy for a few days. After that, it's like a long period.
Your nipple won't look like mashed hamburger if you make sure you have a good latch. Be sure to ask for a lactation consultant to visit you before you leave the hospital.

It's not as bad as you think. If you have a good ob/gyn you won't tear because they will massage the area to prevent tearing and cutting. The bleeding afterwards isn't as bad as your mind makes it. Btw this is my 2nd.
