Oh honey!! My third pregnancy my daughter did the same thing!!! It was awful..:-( I'm sorry to say I didn't find anything I could do to get her to move..I literally would shove at my belly hoping she would give me relief!! I'm just praying this baby doesn't do the same thing....my doc said to take tylenol if I knew I was gonna be out n about and was gonna need a little relief while shopping or going to church or whatever..sorry I can't be more help..but I can sympathize..:-(
Oh no. I'll keep trying to see if I can find anything to help. Good luck this time. Maybe it won't happen to you.
Thanks..;-) how far along are you?? Mine was only a prob at abt 7 mths. till the end...but there was days she had moved..but she always found her way back!!! ;-)
I have the same problem! The pain is awful. And the more I stand or walk makes it worse. Sleeping on my back hurts too and can't even turn. :(
I'm 17 weeks. The pain started around 13 weeks. It does not hurt all the time, but it is getting to be more often.
Oh wow...that seems early for the baby to be big enough to cause nerve pain already!! I'm really feeling sorry for you now..:-( I'm 11 wks 4 days...hoping it passes me this time..really hoping I don't get it early like your experiencing... what a bummer...hope someone has some advice for you that may help..again sorry I can't be more help..:(
Oh thank you. I'll definitely try that today. If it gets much worse I'll have to go see someone.I thought it was early as well, but there's no doubt that's what it is. I'm also the only one in my family to experience nerve pain. Lucky me.
Try to keep pressure off that nerve when you sit because that's one of the biggest things that flares it up, I sit on a balance ball at my desk at work and it's great. It also helps to stay active...in my case the p.t. told me that the best way to reduce back pain is to strengthen the muscles around your back that support it...abs, glutes, etc. So I try to walk on a treadmill for an hour a day as much as I can. I also just took up prenatal yoga, which really helps with strengthening and stretching in a safe way for pregnant women. It's one of my biggest concerns about the pregnancy, will my back hold up, so though I'm only 15 weeks I'm doing everything I can to get strong enough to carry this baby with as little pain as possible. So far it hasn't been bad, especially with the stretching and yoga.
If it gets really bad, see if you can see a physical therapist. They can do wonders; if mine gets bad during this pregnancy I'll definitely be knocking at their door.
