glucose test question

Ok so tomorrow is my glucose test! Finally! The test I've been dreading this entire pregnancy is finally upon me! Lol! Ok anyway! I have to go alone unfortunately, and I was wondering if any of you ladies did this test alone? I get really light headed when they take more than 3 vials of blood..so I'm just kinda nervous!

I will definitely ask then to do that for me! I literally have no one that can go with me..=/ I just hope I don't get sick! I'm bringing a trash can just in case though! Lol!

I suggest you eat a little more then normal before you go and then pack food for when the test is over before you drive home. I was a little nauseous from not eating that's it. I don't know how the not tolerating the blood is drawn so I can't help there. But it wasn't bad. and I'm not saying yours will go easy or not. But hoping so! And ask to take less blood? I know they only took 2 'contaniers' for when I did mine. Goodluck

What you can do, is ask the nurse to only take the amount of blood neccesary since you feel sick. I don't have to because my doctors nurses only take what's needed. Which is sometimes like half a vile or even less than half. Good luck, you'll pass it I'm sure! :)
