glucose test

Today I went in for my glucose test and my poor baby didn't like that drink. They gave me a lemon lime flavor and told me to return in an hour I went back they took blood then I left but still had to return 2 hours later. Well after they took my blood I was so hungry I just wanted to eat at the closest place which was Mcdonalds I aate about three nuggets a fee fries and drank some coke and then I ended up in the restroom puking like crazy. So the moral of my story is that drink is disgusting lol

I had to fast starting at midnight. Of course I woke up starving lol. That drink didnt settle well with me at all. But everyone is different hopefully it doesn't make u sick.

I have to do it next week and my doc didn't give me much info. How long do you have to fast? I'm not looking forward to it. :/ I don't wanna throw up.

I took mine a week ago, they gave me a fruit punch kind and it wasnt bad really... my wittle boy loved it he was bouncing all in my tummy lol... you wouldve thought he was throwing a party in there!!!

Lol how cute. My baby was also moving so much after the drink. This pregnancy has been completely different from my first. My first was so easy

I didn't enjoy the drink, but I had a blast watching baby go nuts. I was sitting in the waiting room and my tummy was popping all over the place and this little girl was watching me with the widest eyes so I told her there was a baby in there. She freaked out started poking her mom 'mom, mom, that lady ate a baby! How are they gonna get it out??' I almost peed myself.

It didnt taste that bad going down I feel fine now. It was just as soon as I started eating everything came up and then I felt better. Oh man I know that three hour one totally blowed! Good thing everything came back normal for u

Orange wasn't that bad. I failed the first and had to do the 3 hr one. :/ but I passed. But the first test was way worse. Nausea is defiantly a side affect of it. When I was waiting j felt like j was gonna puke and after went home and laid down for the rest of the day. How you feeling now
