How far apart should your contractions be before you go in?
My doctor says 5 minutes apart as well but I've seen women on here that said their doctor wants them in around 10 minutes, so if I were you, I would call l&d or your doctor if you've consistently had contractions for an hour at 10 minutes apart or so in order to see what their standards are.
