Not exactly sure about this one. I might have it because of my Childs father. how do they test for it? I'm going to the dr this morning just freaked out.

I tested and it took an hour to get the results, but that was sent to labs under urgent. I had a swob test done.

theyll give u antibiotics for it but if i were u i would have dad get tested n get anitibiotics aswell just so both of yall get cleared n he doesnt give it to u again... js if its positive

Im am on my 3rd child and I have never been tested for gonnorhea. I belive you are thinking of the Strep B test.

They test thru either blood or a pap.. and if thats what you have you get a shot in the butt

As far as results go, my doctor said she would call me if anything was wrong (for example, I had an std) and if everything was normal she wouldnt call. I had my appointment this morning and she said all my tests came back really good.

Thwy do a pap smear and swab you also it could be checked in urine. If you have anything they could callyou the same day and tell you but normally they klet the culture grow for a day or two.

If you have it your baby will be just fine. Don't worry. I'll be 37 wks tomorrow and they have to do a test for it at 36 wks & if you have it they either give you antibiotics or when your in labor they give you an IV antibiotic. The test they gave me is a pap with swabs just like they do when they first examine you at your first appt.

They do an exam, where they swab around the inside of your vagina.
