hair coloring.

I've been looking for a post about dying your hair during pregnancy but I'm not finding any.
my question is, can you dye your hair and if you can whwn can you?

I would really like to see some changes. other than my belly. lol.

My doctor said it was fine...you just want to stay in a open room ao the fumes arnt wrong...he told me that at 9 weeks ao im guessing you can at any time

midwife says no unless u get amonia (ammonia) free excuse spelling dye posions ur blood stream.. also u risk chances of it not taking to your hair and just washing out..
i died my hair while pregnant with 2nd baby and part of it stuck to my hair the rest washed out not worth it looked worse than it started with.. wont be doing it this pregnancy

Yes you can and on your second trimester well that's what doctors recommend but I dyed my hair before my second trimester and nothing happened now im almost 29 weeks pregnant.

yes to add onto what they are saying, its best to get it professionally colored as your hormones can mess with your hair and affect the hair color... so in that its best to leave it to the professionals... and they would be able to tell you if its safe or not...

Hi, I'm 21 and have been a Licensed Hairstylist for about Two years now... I just wanted to say that I am always Doing Colors services on expecting mothers :) they say it is fine and like to have some change during the pregnancy.!

also, there are certain types of products to make sure the Color completely takes to your hair. :)

wrll I colored it. but like the lady said it stuck only some.
really pretty color though. lol. I guess imma go to a colorist and see if they can fix it.
