We use the Little Bear/Thomas the Train training toothpaste with DS, I think it's Orajel brand.
Little Bear toothpaste is "training toothpaste" and it does not contain fluoride. Use it until your little one is able to have their teeth brushed without swallowing the paste. Then you can move to fluoride toothpastes.
My oldest daughter was over 3 years old before she got "big girl" toothpaste that contains fluoride.
i was told that the dental nurse at my son's nursery had advised using adult toothpastes with toddlers. it's something to do with the fluoride measurement i think...it should be at least 1000.
Any floride free toothpaste is good, I get either the little bear or Thomas kind, I cant remember what brand they are.......
I would go and pick up the LITTLE BEAR tooth paste it is the safest and the best for young children
GOOD LUCK
I use the kids colgate toothpaste that the dentist gave my little boy at his 2 year tooth check up.
