high risk ultrasound

I went to the Doc today. Apparently I'm having a few contractions and I'm 17 wks almost. Doc says he's gonna have the high risk doctor do the ultrasound that i was supposed to have today and we might have to come back weekly for a shot. I think he said progesterone but don't remember. Anyone else know what this might be? Or am i right?

My sister was having contractions went to the hospital and they gave her a pill to stop them... she couldnt drive for a day or so but it worked and she delivered him full term.

I took a pill to stop preterm contractions with my second child. Worked for me but we all respond differently to different drugs. It's great to meet with a high risk team to get another opinion a great move for your OB to make. Best of luck!
